30 Days of Thanks: Day 1

This year I have decided to participate in 30 Days of Thanks. It is going to be weird going from blogging once a week to everyday but I think I need it at this time in my life. It's so easy for me to focus on the negative right now, as frankly there is a lot of negative to focus on. Hopefully this will help with the healing process and with looking at the bright side. So without further ado...

1. I am thankful for modern medicine.

There are a lot of reasons I'm thankful for modern medicine today. Since the loss I haven't been sleeping well on my own, but that is remedied by the easily procured Tylenol PM. Over the last few days I have been dealing with cramps similar to what I would get during AF, but instead of curling up in a ball wishing I was dead I have my good friend Tramadol to help me get through. The most obvious reason is of course Clomid which has helped me conceive once and hopefully will again soon even if I'm not taking it right now. I am someone with a lot of health issues. PCOS, Endometriosis, chronic chest pain, eczema, and a generally sucky immune system have me looking to modern medicine quite often. Without it I'm sure my quality of life would not be even close to what it is.
